6-Week Project
Skills Used: Photoshop, Arduino 6 Active Buzzer, Sewing Machine
Creative Brief: Design a piece of wearable technology that enhances the body in some way.

Research:
77 percent of people experience stress that affects their physical health.
80 percent of people feel stress at work.
48 percent of people have trouble sleeping because of stress.
Stress is a big pain point I found during my research both mentally and physically, next I needed to find ways to relieve stress.
Research Cont.
There are many ways you can relieve stress like exercising, yoga and pressure points. I also, found that you can stimulate pressure points though pressure or vibration waves.

Design Thinking:
In my prototypes I wanted to achieve a sleek and comfortable design for my user while keeping all part easily accessible.

How It Works:
In the final design there are two places where you can connect the self adhesive pads to the Haptic Patch. To turn on the device, simply remove the smaller housing (for the Gemma and battery)  from inside the main Haptic Patch. Then, you can easily access the on switch. Place the housing back inside, zip close the Haptic Patches, and begin relaxation.

Other Uses:
There are 361 pressure points in the human body, below are some possibilities where you can place the Haptic Patches.
