The Aquahome is a self-sustainable fish tank that only requires you to feed the fish.  After you feed your fish the process begins, the fish produce a nitrate that is filtered through the bottom of the tank, and then it is pumped into the harvest top of the Aquahome system. After the water has reached the top of the system there will be a misting timer that goes off and gets the necessary water to each herb/veggie. This process cleans the water for the fish as well as provides nutrients for small herbs and vegetables to grow. This is called aquaponics.

Five grow pods can fit into one Harvest top. The produce that comes from these pods can be incorporated into meals for months! The grow pods snap and lock into place from a(n) magnetic ring on both the harvest top and the grow pods.

Once your herbs/vegetables are ready to be harvested all you need to do is simply remove the blue (rubber) nut from the back of the Aquahome, then you can easily remove the top to harvest your produce!
